What We Did
Many of Blumenthal Performing Arts’ target audiences are literally audiences — thousands who are widely entertained in its six theaters in center city Charlotte. Others are those who benefit from and donate to the organization’s educational, community-building and economic contributions to the region. As the area’s leading performance arts organization, Blumenthal Performing Arts infuses more than $50 million annually into the local economy and inspires residents and visitors in priceless ways.
We were honored to colorfully refresh the Blumenthal brand for its 25th anniversary. By updating the organization’s logo, architecture and visual identity in a way that would engage audiences, we garnered interest from the community for both the breadth of their offerings and the organization as a whole.
Results
The new branding readily translated into diverse communications both inside and outside the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. It was easily adopted across all marketing materials and more effectively communicated the brand’s contemporary relevance to all audiences.

A brightly animated video celebrating the organization’s 25th anniversary also introduced the brand’s updated look and feel.

Cohesive advertising elements provide a recognizable look and feel for every Blumenthal experience.

Unique and eye-catching, but clearly connecting the entire organization as a whole, colorful branding facilitated a helpful wayfinding system across tactics to promote Blumenthal Performing Arts experiences throughout the local community.
