Hammary is debuting six occasional furniture collections and a variety of striking accent pieces at fall High Point Market. The introductions include an addition to a popular rustic collection crafted from solid, reclaimed wood and inspired by a trend toward naturally worn, renewed furniture.
“Each new table group is designed with character; these collections speak for themselves and supply that personal touch decorators are looking for,” said Randy Huff, vice president of merchandising for Hammary. “Consumers today desire trendy, functional pieces that bring personality to their space. That’s what we aimed to achieve with the new fall collections.”
Featuring reclaimed wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Reclamation Place Post and Beam finds new life in a generation that combines a dark tobacco finish and forged alloy metal with undertones of copper, pewter and bronze. On trend with millennials and equally at home in country and urban settings, this revamped collection captures an audience seeking simpler styling and is inspired by straightforward design functionality rather than frivolous embellishments. The collection consists of five pieces, all of which evoke a sense of strength and durability with sturdy, solid wood stock legs and planks of assorted reclaimed wood. In addition to the reclaimed wood, the environmentally friendly, water-based finish will also resonate with millennials. The cocktail table includes casters for increased accessibility and convenience, driving home the group’s commitment to functionality.
The Sympli table collection’s warm, distressed brown coloring with golden undertones creates a welcoming atmosphere. Inspired by the 20th century Modernism movement ideals of cutting excess, commodification and practicality of materials in design, the Sympli collection lets the beautiful Acacia wood shine as the star of the design. The exotic wood veneers are complemented by travertine marble tops and metal accents. The featured cocktail table includes a lift top providing an assortment of storage spaces inside and is ideal for smaller spaces.
Impact pairs bronze metal with a white marble top for a casual contemporary styling. Silver undertones shine through for maximum impact, and the square metal-tube and concave-shaped bases provide additional storage, while also adding to the unique, modern look. The Newton collection, composed of strictly metal material with an antique bronze finish, incorporates engravings of straight lines and grid-like patterns into each piece. The collection features clean lines and an airy feel, and pairs well with sleek, simple interior décor. The Groovy group is a six-piece collection that straddles the line between modern and traditional styling. The medium brown, straight-grain ash veneer tops stimulate a linear and modern feel, while the gently shaped sabre legs capture a classic vibe. Finger pulls allow for clean surfaces, and select pieces also include caster wheels for increased accessibility and convenience.
Defined by a metal framework that supports the wooden surface of most items, the Fusion group features wire-brushed poplar veneers and solids that complement the stained gray finish. Inspired by retro contemporary forms but expressed in country materials, this fusion of styles drives an urban, industrial look. The clean, functional group gives consumers the storage and accessibility they desire.
Hammary has also added 17 pieces to the popular Hidden Treasures collection of accent pieces from around the world, including a navy contemporized drawer chest, geode agate-inspired end tables and a versatile bar cart with caster wheels. On-trend gold and brass metals are incorporated in many of the fall market pieces.
Products will be on display in the 75,000-square-foot showroom for Hammary, American Drew and Kincaid Furniture, located in C926 on the ninth floor of the International Home Furnishings Center.
