Client News

Inspired by the marine environment and international culture of Miami, Florida, TUUCI will feature its latest offerings in shade products during Salone International in Milan April 8-13, reaching out to an international design community captivated by the ways in which TUUCI has reimagined shading.

Located at Hall 10 F28, visitors to the TUUCI booth will experience the full range of TUUCI products from the expansive shade of the Plantation MAX Dual Cantilever to the luxurious comfort of the Atlantis Pavilion and from the timeless beauty of the Ocean Master Classic to the cutting edge design of the Stingray.

“While our products are diverse in applications, sizes and designs, there are common elements in everything under the TUUCI brand,” said Dougan Clarke, TUUCI founder and CEO. “Durable marine grade components, lift systems engineered for ease of use and distinctive designs unlike anything seen before in the shade category have been the hallmarks of our company for 16 years.”

TUUCI shade products are designed for use by leading hotel, resort and restaurant venues as well as discriminating personal residences. The exhibit at Salone will be one of the largest for TUUCI products at an international show:

  • Plantation MAX Dual Cantilever in Java – TUUCI’s most expansive shade offering with two large canopies supported by a single mast for uninterrupted shade.
  • Ocean Master Classic – One of TUUCI’s most popular parasols featuring a classic design with durable engineering, stylish profiles and 100 percent replaceable parts.
  • Plantation Classic in Java – The Plantation Classic combines the strength of aluminum and stainless steel with the warm look of wood with TUUCI’s exclusive Aluma-TEAK material.
  • Ocean Master MAX Cantilever with heating and lighting – Cool nights can be enjoyed outdoors with this parasol, featuring accessories for heat and light for an uninterrupted coverage area.
  • Stingray – “Design-in-motion” best describes TUUCI’s Stingray parasol, which rotates 360 degrees from a vertical axis for shade at any time during the day.
  • Atlantis Pavilion – The Atlantis Pavilion was created to provide comfort and privacy outdoors, featuring ample drapes in high-performance marine-grade fabrics.

“Exhibiting at Salone is inspiring for our team at TUUCI as we share our latest products and experience design at the highest levels in the world,” Clarke said. “The opportunity for us to meet with architects, designers and industry leaders is invaluable as we continually look for new opportunities in the design frontiers of shading.”

Salone was created in 1961 as an avenue for promoting Italian furniture and furnishing accessories on the export market. It has become one of the world’s leading design events, attracting more than 285,000 trade operators and 38,000 consumers from around the world during 2013. Exhibiting at Salone is by invitation only, and 2014 will mark TUUCI’s third exhibit.
