Visitors to High Point Market April 5-10, 2014 will get an up-close look at the handcrafted details that go into each fixture in new collections from Crystorama Lighting, showroom D320, IHFC building.
First introduced at January Dallas Market, the new collections highlight the luxurious finishes and materials for which Crystorama fixtures are known and meet the growing demand in the design community for handcrafted lighting designs.
“Many people don’t realize how much work goes into each Crystorama light fixture,” said Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama. “For example, our popular Gold Leaf finish is very labor intensive and requires the work of an artisan to hand-rub gold leafing on to the metal. The end result is breathtaking, especially when you can see the details up-close.”
Draped strands of living brass beads dress the Angelina Collection while an English Bronze finish foiled with gold gives it a multicolored, textured finish. Angelina’s candle sleeves are spun with metal for a subtle, ribbed texture look. Angelina 456-EB will be on display during Market.
The Bella Collection is on trend with the use of metallic gold in home décor featuring Antique Gold wrought iron and hand-cut crystal. Bella 567-GA will be on display during Market.
With the introduction of Crystorama’s Broche Collection in 2012, the interest in metallic finishes in home décor has skyrocketed. With such success, the company has expanded the collection to include an Antique Silver finish. This handcrafted, artisan finish increases the application opportunities for the Broche Collection. Broche 507-SA and Broche 517-SA will be on display during Market.
Drawing inspiration from its popular Solaris and Broche collections, Crystorama designed the Luna Collection as artwork for the home using flat, sleek panels reminiscent of ribbon. With an English Bronze exterior, Luna’s unique shape is highlighted by its light-reflecting gold interior. Luna 585-GA-EB will be on display during Market.
The all-glass Stella Collection combines gold and purple accents for lighting that is captivating at every angle. Stella 9926-GD-AM will be on display during Market.
Also on display are new sizes and shapes for existing collections Filmore 4455-GA-CL-MWP and Hampton 5623-EB.
“Homeowners are looking for lighting that is not only functional, but fashionable,” Kleinberg said. “Our new collections highlight the luxurious, handcrafted details that make lighting an accessory for the home, as jewelry is to fashion.”
