Crescent Communities has been named to Multifamily Executive’s Top 25 Developers list, recognizing the company’s active role in building multifamily communities across the country.

“This is a great accomplishment for our extraordinary team and the contributions of our people to create, collaborate and execute outstanding multifamily communities,” said Brian Natwick, president of Crescent’s multifamily group.  

Crescent, ranked No. 12 on the list of national developers, is the only North Carolina company represented and is recognized for the 1,566 units started in 2013. Crescent has 4,500 units under construction or in pre-development and this year will announce plans for several new multifamily communities in 2014 and 2015.

Crescent also was recently ranked No. 8 on MFE’s companies to watch in 2014. The company currently has 20 multifamily communities under development or in pre-development in major growth cities including Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, Nashville, Dallas, Houston, Denver and Phoenix. Four of those properties will open in 2014: Crescent Bayshore, a 367-unit luxury apartment living option with an exclusive location in Hyde Park on Bayshore Blvd.; Crescent Terminus, featuring 355 units as the only luxury apartment living option in Terminus, a mixed-use development in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood; Crescent Ninth Street, in the heart of Durham’s popular Ninth Street corridor and offering 303 apartments conveniently just blocks from Duke University Medical Center; and Crescent Cameron Village, 282 units that bring the first luxury apartment living option to Raleigh’s historic Cameron Village outdoor lifestyle center.
